To begin Episode 1 our smooth voiced announcer says:
The condition of the youth today is a barrage of pressure and suppression leading to where we now are, approaching eruption. We walk and talk like our peers without knowing why. I open my windows and instead of hearing melodies of joy and hope for the future, I hear a concerning silence. The loud voices, the screaming shouts inside us, hints that this life is more than losing ourselves in indulgences, are being suppressed without regard. So at the moment I hear a murmur, a groan, a faint echo of what could be. I’ve been told those who haven’t found themselves tend to try to lose themselves. I urge you to find yourself; I am trying. On this episode of My Name is Hototo, our hero has just discovered his acres of diamonds that are present in the present moment—in his mind. Now Hototo has just begun his journey, still immature, undeveloped. Upon listening you may experience epiphanies, revelations, concern yourself with improving yourself, and refine your thinking.
